Class I indication for thiazide therapy for reducing symptoms:

- CHF + symptoms of hyperhydration + GFR > 30 ml/min,
- CHF + symptoms of hyperhydration refractory to treatment with loop diuretic + GFR < 30 ml/min,
- CHF + symptoms of hyperhydration refractory to treatment with loop diuretic and potassium-sparing diuretic.
