Class IIb indications for atrioventricular node ablation for controlling the ventricular rate:
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + persistent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with B-blocker and digoxin,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + persistent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with B-blocker and amiodarone,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + persistent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with digoxin and amiodarone,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + persistent atrial fibrillation + poor tolerance of B-blockers + poor tolerance of digoxin + poor tolerance of amiodarone,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + permanent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with B-blocker and digoxin,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + permanent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with B-blocker and digoxin,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + permanent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with B-blocker and amiodarone,
- chronic systolic HF + NYHA Class II - IV symptoms + permanent atrial fibrillation + inadequate ventricular rate control during treatment with digoxin and amiodarone,
